- Charles Bridge - This 520 meters long sandstone bridge was built on order by Charles IV after 1357. The construction was lead by Peter Parler. The bridge is lined with 30 statues, the first of them being of John of Nepomuk from 1683. The Gothic Old Town Bridge Tower is one of the most striking constructions of this kind in the world. To see the Charles Bridge is sipmly a must for every visitor!
- We´ll stop in the Lesser Town Quarter for small lunch or coffee / tea break - I explain you how to use the public transport, how to change and where safely your money, give my tips how to sped your time, culture tips , good restaurants e.t.c. and much more...
- We´ll then jump on a tram and head up the hill to the the Prague Castle, the seat of 1000 years of historical, political and artistic development in Bohemia and in the Czech Republic.
- We visit the St. Vitus Cathedral, the coronation and burial place of the Czech kings with its St. Wenceslas Chapel - I show you where the Bohemian Crown Jewels are in safekeeping.
